Exteroceptor

Interoceptor

Proprioceptor

Chemoreceptor

a sensory cell or organ responsive to chemical stimuli

Osmoreceptor

specialized nerve cells, primarily in the brain, that detect changes in the body’s fluid osmotic pressure

Nociceptor
