Blood (Patterns)

inappropriate presence of tension: restless, tightness, jumpy

-may be preceded by loss of Blood, insufficient SP Qi to produce new Blood or Congealed Blood that prevents new blood from forming

Blood Deficiency

dizzy or sensation of instability

frequent hemorrhages with dark clots

Blood Stasis

this condition may be preceded by trauma/abuse, hemorrhage, Qi Deficiency/Stagnation, or Cold patterns, and Blood Heat

Blood Stasis

-can be due to excessive emotions, alcohol intake and invasion of exogenous pathogens. It’s a major symptom of Excess/Heat pattern

Blood Heat

if heat affects the blood, it’s reckless and generated by Heat EPF that invades deep inside the body, agitating blood

blood in sputum, vomit, urine, feces

Blood Heat 

can occur from Blood Stasis and Yin Deficiency, but usually due to Qi Deficiency unable to hold Blood or because Blood Heat (Excess) pushes blood out of the vessels
