Non-Coordinated Testing
Reactive testing method where the Resource Entity informs ERCOT and the TO via their QSE at least two hours prior to the test.
Normal Rating
Technical limit for Transmission Facilities, enforced by ERCOT pre-contingency.
Emergency Rating
Technical limit for Transmission Facilities, enforced by ERCOT post-contingency if no RAP is available, with restoration to Normal Rating within two hours.
15-Minute Rating
Technical limit for Transmission Facilities, enforced by ERCOT post-contingency if an approved RAP is available, with RAP implementation to reach Emergency Rating within 15 minutes and Normal Rating within two hours.
