What should you look for in Part A text?
Claims (c1, c2, c3), Credibility, and the authors argument
How long should question 1 part A be and what should it include?
Take 3 minutes to write 1-2 sentences and use claims found to outline the thesis.
Format of Question 2
Restate the agrument
State the claim, you can quote it
Explain how the author established/ developed the claim (what evidence)
Try to link claims back to main argument
Show the connection between claims
State how the author organizes the argument

Restate the argument
Go through at least 3 pieces of evidence
State the evidence
Say if it’s trustworthy or not based on credentials, where it came from, etc.
State if the evidence is relevant to the claim.
End with whether the author’s use of evidence was effective or ineffective and why
