Beliefs
The idea that our attributes shape our actions, and we teach both behavior and content, focusing on our influence.
Management vs. Discipline
Management - The proactive and active processes involved in running a classroom effectively.
Discipline - The thoughtful response to student misbehavior, often including consequences and teaching opportunities.

Attribution

Choices should not be threats in disguise
Only gives choices that won’t make a problem for you
Give options that will make you happy, regardless of what your students decide
Give students small choices
Give 10 sec for your students to decide
Offer choices before your students become resistant…not after
