Upon seeing Gregor the gentlemen tenants were not fearful or scared, they were curious. When Gregor's father blocked their view of him he became agitated.

She thinks that if the bug was Gregor that he would have already realized that he as a bug could not live with his human family and would have.

The family responds to Gregor's death in a slightly happy and slightly sad manner, as they no longer have to take care of Gregor.

Why do YOU think Gregor died?

I think that Gregor most likely died from malnutrition, mistreatment and stress, as he had not been fed or taken care of in many days.

How does life change for the Samsa family after Gregor dies?

Life changes drastically for the Samsa family following Gregor's death. They no longer needed a cleaning lady nor did they rent rooms of their home. They were also now able to move to a new place. They also seemed happier and more together.

What explanation does the story give for why Gregor transformed?

The book shows that Gregor needed to go away more than his sister, which suggest that Gregor's death would.

What in your opinion, caused Gregor's transformation?

I think Gregor's transformation was meant to teach him a lesson about being disconnected from his family. I think that this was meant to show him what isolation from his family is like, kind of like a punishment. It ended up causing him to become depressed killing him.
