Decreased reaction time, diminished vision, lessened concentration, and weakened judgment.
What does Blood or Breath Alcohol Concentration (BAC) measure?
Measures the amount of alcohol in a person's body.
What effects can occur depending on your BAC?
Decline in visual function and coordination, poor muscle control, and reduced ability to process information.
At what BAC level may driving be impaired?
Even a BAC of 0.02 can impair driving ability, affecting visual functions and the ability to perform multiple tasks.
What factors affect your BAC?
Body weight, body fat, drugs ingested, food in the stomach, alcohol consumption (how much and when), age, gender, race/ethnicity, and family history.
Can you accurately assess your own BAC to avoid impaired driving?
It is extremely difficult to assess your own BAC accurately.

Some contain alcohol, and some do not.
Why should you be cautious about mixing energy drinks with alcohol?
Energy drinks mixed with alcohol and caffeine can cause driver impairment.
What necessary driving skills can be impaired by drugs?
Vision, reaction time, judgment, hearing, and cognitive skills like information processing.
