Frontal Bone

- Forms the forehead and front part of the skull.

Parietal Bones

- Paired bones forming the upper sides and roof of the cranium.

Temporal Bones

- Form the sides of the skull and house the ear structures.

Occipital Bone

- Forms the back/base of the skull and contains the foramen magnum.

Sphenoid Bone

- Keystone bone of the cranium; forms part of the eye orbit.

Ethmoid Bone

- Forms part of the nasal cavity and medial orbital wall.

Nasal Bones

- Paired bones forming the bridge of the nose.

Lacrimal Bones

- Small facial bones containing the tear ducts.

Zygomatic Bones

- Cheekbones; form part of the eye orbit.

Maxilla

- Upper jaw; houses upper teeth.

Mandible

- Lower jaw; only movable bone in the skull.

Palatine Bones

- Form part of the hard palate in the mouth.

Vomer

- Forms the inferior part of the nasal septum.

Inferior Nasal Concha (Conchae)

- Paired, curved bones on the lateral walls of the nasal cavity that are covered by a mucous membrane
