PHYSICAL BARRIERS 

Our Physical condition (e.g: Location, Environment, time, and distance.)

Consists of any sound or hindrance that prevents a person from being heard.

ORGANIZATIONAL BARRIERS

An organization is a complex structure which hums with activity

hindrances in the flow of information among the employees that might result in a commercial failure of an organization.

LANGUAGE/LINGUISTIC BARRIERS 

Language is what helps us to convey meaning. The use of language depends on our background, culture, experience, attitude and location.

Words may mean different things to different people and be understood or misunderstood accordingly.

* Use of unfamiliar language
* Speaking at the wrong moment

CULTURAL BARRIERS

Culture is a set of values and attributes of a group; it is the sum of the ways of living built up by a group and transmitted from one generation to another.

One must have an open mind and be willing to learn about different cultures to adapt to them. 

SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIERS

Problems of understanding, interpretation, and response to communication arise from our socially learnt attributes and personal attributes. Human beings are victims of bias and prejudice, suffer from anger, fear, joy, and sorrow.

Barriers that are technical sources of interference in the communication process.
