Newton’s first law (of motion)
An object at rest will stay at rest and an object moving with constant velocity will continue to move with constant velocity unless an unbalanced force acts on it.
Resultant force on an object will cause
The object to accelerate in the same direction
How to find the resultant force
add the vectors if they are vectors or use trig to resolve it into it’s horizontal and vertical parts
Newton’s second law (of motion)
The force need to accelerate a particle with a fixed mass is equal to the product of the mass and it acceleration F=ma
Newton’s third law (of motion)
for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction on the exerting object
