Abstract
A short summary of a research paper, typically 150 to 250 words, that includes the main problem, variables, methods, findings, conclusions, and implications.
Literature Review
A section that provides an overview of relevant research, states the importance of the study, and presents the rationale and specific hypotheses.
Methods
A section detailing the specific steps, tests, and equipment used in the research, allowing others to replicate the study.
Results
The section where data is reported without interpretation, following specific guidelines for presentation and structure.
Discussion
A section summarizing results, comparing findings to hypotheses and previous research, interpreting findings, and discussing study limitations and future research recommendations.
Citation
A reference to a published or unpublished source used in the paper, requiring appropriate formatting such as APA.
Hypothesis
A specific prediction or assumption to be tested in the research.
Significance of the Study
The reason why the research is important and worth conducting.
Standard Deviation
A measure of the amount of variation or dispersion in a set of values, often included when reporting mean values.
Figures vs Tables
Figures are graphical representations of data, while tables present data in a structured format; they should not be confused.
