Present Simple
Used for scheduled events, e.g., 'School finishes at half past three in the afternoon.'
Present Continuous
Used for fixed arrangements, e.g., 'I’m meeting my friends tomorrow.'
WILL + INFINITIVE
Used for predictions, promises, sudden decisions, and offers.
GOING TO + INFINITIVE
Used for intentions and plans, as well as predictions based on evidence.
MAY / MIGHT
Used when we are less certain about the future, indicating possibility.
FUTURE CONTINUOUS
Used to talk about an action that will be in progress at a certain time in the future.
FUTURE PERFECT
Used to talk about a completed action or event in the future, often with 'by' or 'before'.
FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS
Used to emphasize that an action will continue up to a specific point in the future and beyond.
