Fraternity fact

Phi Gamma Delta's Norris Pig Dinner is the longest continually running, chapter-based, annual graduate event in the entire Greek world. It is also the most widely observed.

Founders Day

The actual date of Fiji's founding is April 22, but the first meeting and adoption of the constitution took place on May 1, 1848 which is why May 1st is our Founders day.

What is our mascot and what is its name?

A snowy white owl. Its name is Gamma.

Badge

The fiji badge is a black diamond with a white star and Greek letters written in gold. The badge was designed by founder McCarty and manufactured by founder Elliot. Women are only permitted to wear the badge if they are the mother, wife, sister, daughter, or fiancée of a Fiji member.

Seal

Two clasped hands which rest upon a closed book and have rays of light radiating in the background. Oval shape. Greek letters are displayed along with the words "Fortiter, Fideliter, Feliciter." This image is on your membership certificate.

Where are the Greek letters allowed to be displayed?

I would rather be a Fiji. I don't care for all the rest, My heart bleeds for that Fiji bunch, Just because I love them best,

Saving the Delta

The tradition of removing the triangle shaped end piece of pie/cake in the presence of brothers. If you forget, they are allowed to smash the cake/pie in your face.
