Types of phyllotaxy
1. alternate phyllotaxy
If single leaf arises on a node and leaves of alternate node lies alternate to each other. eg.Hibiscus
2. opposite phyllotaxy
If pair of leaves arises on a node and lies opposite to each other. eg. Ocimum
• If opposite leaves on adjacent nodes lies on same plane known as superposed opposite phyllotaxy
•If opposite leaves on adjacent nodes lies perpendicular known as Decussute opposite phyllotaxy
3.Whorled phyllotaxy
If cluster or more than two leaves arises on a node. eg. Hydrilla
Phyllotaxy
Arrangement of leaves on the nodes of main stem or branches.
Tap Root
If primary roots are persist throughout the life of plant and continue to grow shorter or longer inside the soilwith successive development of root hair,root cap etc
It is dicot plant.
It develops from seed.

Adventitious Root
If primary roots stops to grow after sometime and cluster of thin thread like roots develops from the other part than radicle of embryo when the seed are developed from other underground or aerial branches,leaves,floweretc
