Transition Metals

# of v.e. changes on what elements they react with, good conductor of electricity, range or reactivity and properties

Halogens

Group 17, 7 v.e., non Metals, reactive w g1 forming salts, steal/gain 1 v.e., poor elec. cond.

Noble Gases

Group 18, 8 v.e., full v. shell, non metals, usually gases, nonreactive, stable, do not form ions, do not chemically bond.
