Long Bones
Mainly in our arms and legs and act as levers to aid movement.
E.g. Femur

Short Bones
Small and cube shaped, they are designed to be stronger and bear weight.
E.g. Carpals or tarsals.

Flat Bones
Flat in their design which gives us shape and allows muscles to pull on them.
E.g. Scapula

Irregular Bones
Very strange shape, often pointy.
E.g. Vertebrae
