1. Classification

When people are divided into different groups based off of ethnicity, religion or nationality (Us vs. them)on

2. Symbolization

When names symbols or labels are given to certain groups to identify them. Examples include badges colours or stereotypes

3. Discrimination

One group is denied rights and treated unfairly through laws, polocies or social practices.

4. Dehumanization

When the targeted group is seen as less human and can be compared to different species,diseses and veromon to justify mistreatment.

5. Organization

Planing and organizing the genocide, often by governments, or militias gathering weapons and propaganda

6. Polarization

when propaganda is spread to divide society, moderates are silenced and to increase tension between different groups.

7. Preparation

Victims are identified and separated into ghettos campus and lists are compiled

8. Persecution

When the group is systematically abused, starved and imprisoned because of the group they belong to.

9. Extermination

Mass murder of the targeted group

10. Denial

Those responsible deny the genocide, hide evidance, blame victims and or block investigations.
