Training

Benefits of Training

Education
A process of lifelong learning that prepares individuals to participate in society and the workforce, developing fundamental skills and personal values.
Further Education and Training (FET)
Refers to all education and training from National Qualifications Framework levels two to four in South Africa, equivalent to grades 10 to 12.
National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
A set of principles and guidelines that integrates education and training into a unified system.
Reflective Application
The practice of considering one's actions and behaviors in light of learning experiences to facilitate personal growth and improvement.
Competence
The ability of employees to perform their tasks effectively, contributing to improved health and safety in the workplace.
Lifelong Learning
An ongoing, voluntary, and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge for personal or professional development.
Motivation
The level of enthusiasm and commitment an employee feels towards their job, often enhanced by training and personal development.
Skills Shortage
A significant challenge in the economy related to the lack of adequately trained employees in specific fields.
