What is a physical property?
A physical property is something you can see, smell, or measure about a substance without changing what it is. It describes the substance exactly as it is right now.
What is a chemical property?
A chemical property describes how a substance reacts with something else to form a brand-new substance.
What is a physical change?
In a physical change, the substance might look different, but the actual particles inside haven't changed. It is usually easy to undo (like melting ice back into water).
What is a chemical change?
In a chemical change, the particles actually break apart and regroup to create something brand new. You cannot easily undo this (you can't "un-bake" a cake).
