SS: Pain, inflammation, welling, tenderness, crepitus
ST:
Micro-tears and inflammation of the tendon

MOI: direct or indirect forces,
SS: Sharp pain, “giving away”, “pop”
ST: Patellar Apprehension
In lat direction
ACL Tear
MOI:
Contact: Plant and pivot
Non-Contact: Land in hyper-ext, decelerate, change direction
SS: Immediate pain, lots of swelling, unwilling to move knee, , “pop”
ST: Lachman, Ant Drawer
Females are 2x more likely

MCL Tear
MOI: plant and lat rot, direct contact to lat aspect of knee
SS: pain, swelling, discoloration, point tender @ mid MCL, instability
