The nuclear envelope breaks down (preparing to divide again).
What happens in Metaphase 2?

Sister chromatids are separated from one another and pulled to opposite ends of the cell.
What happens in Telophase 2?
Both cells divide again, producing a total for 4 haploid cells.

In males, four viable/workable sex cells are produced.
After Meiosis, how many sex cells are produced in females?
In females, only 1 viable/workable sex cells is produced and the other 3 are wasted.
