giving specific task directions and micro-manage. works best with low- readiness followers are unwilling/unable

participating

shared ideas and participative direction. low-moderate readiness where followers are able but unwilling

selling

explaining task directions in a supportive way. moderate-high readiness with unable followers who are willing
