At the start of verse 1, there are 6 finger clicks, here, there is a roll on the open hi-hat cymbal.

The drums enter earlier, not only playing the cymbal roll which leads in to the verse, but there is a new snare roll idea on 'never kept the same address', which ends with a triangle sound.

In the first verse the backing vocals were in 3-part and leapt around a lot inspired by gospel music. Here, in verse two, they are in 4-part harmony and movie amore conjunct way. They also use mixture of vocalisations and words (a killer, a killer, she's a killer queen).
