Toast Speech

Hello Everyone,

I think it is safe to assume you all know the groom Ben, at least on some level. I like to think I know him on one of the deepest levels,

I’ve known Ben since I was a baby

and we’ve done some pretty crazy stuff over the years. My favorite situation we got into was the Shopping Go Kart

(Story) When I was in highschool,

I was a junior and Ben was a senior. Everyday after school me and Ben would walk home together because my parents are awesome and bought a house next to ben’s.

Mom and dad by the way, you guys sacrificed your peaceful nights and clean carpets to me, Ben and our skateboards.

Anyways,

Me and Ben would walk home everyday and one day we were walking through the neighborhood park and passed a Dollar General shopping cart.

This is important,

Because there are NO dollar Generals in 50 MILES of that park. Someone put that cart in their car and drove it to this park.

Me and ben,

saw this as a sign and took the cart home. That weekend was spent in Ben’s garage with hand saws and zip ties turning that shopping cart into the coolest go cart my high school eyes have ever seen.

We rode

that dumb little cart dow this too steep hill over and over until we fell one too many times. We had more fun with that cart than we did with our xboxs which we played together every night

The whole idea

to turn that piece of trash into a speedster was Ben’s. Ben has always been one of the most creative people I know, even if he spends his genius doing stupid things with me.
