BEFORE YOU START, please read.
This flashcard set is an extension, as a recruit you do not need to know these at all. But i encourage you to learn them anyways, as similar words to these are used in the ADF, which would be very useful if you want to enlist in the future.
If you have any questions, you should ask your CCPL or CSGT, they will be happy to teach you full RATEL.
LOCSTAT
Location Statement, used to tell people where you are so they know what to do in an emergency. Usually sent once you reach a location for example an activity point.
MAINTDEM/OPDEM/PRIDEM
A request for supplies.
Maintdem - supplies that are needed in a day.
Opdem - up to 6 hours.
Pridem - less than six hours.
This report is not usually used during our activities.
SITREP
Situation report. Used to tell people about your situation, sometimes they can be agreed to be sent at a routine time, for example every day at 1200hrs. Or can be sent when neeeded.
CASEVAC
Request to evacuate ill or injured person from present location for further treatment.
