Conversion Bridge (Conversion Factor)

A bridge that connects two different measurements/units to each other.

Examples of Conversion Bridges

60 seconds = 1 minute, 7 days = 1 week, 60 minutes = 1 hour, 24 hours = 1 day

Units

A system of measurement (meters, kilograms, and seconds).

Mole

Amount of reactants/products in chemical reactions (ex. 1 mole 0=15.999 g 0)

Avogadro's Number

6.02 x 10^23 atoms (ex. 6.02x10^23 atoms H=1.01 g H)
