Waves produce twice the world's energy if harnessed, due to the moon and sun's gravitational pull, which causes tides to move twice a day.

Tidal energy

The sun and moon's gravitational pull causes seawater to move twice daily, causing it to come onto land and then recede, which can be harnessed for electricity generation.

Tourism

seaside is a major tourist attraction. People of medcs are attracted to marine sites of great natural beauty, especially coral reefs. Other activities include sun bathing, fishing, diving etc

Transport

ships are important to transport people and goods; however, shipping is less common to transport people now due to the advent of aviation.
