A person who makes, distributes, or sells goods illegally.

They were ‘boyish’ looks in dresses and hair. They wore galoshes with buckles unfasten, skirts were short and silk stockings were rolled down.

A book that promoted discrimination towards Slavs, Blacks and especially Jews.
What was Conscription?
Mackenzie King did not want to bring back conscription. He originally promised no one would be forced to fight overseas.

They will be sent to death camps.

The goal of the Allied forces was to gain an all-important secure position in progress in Western Europe and a chance to liberate France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark from German occupation.

What was the Truman Doctrine?
A policy announced in 1957 by U.S. president Harry Truman which stated America would help countries fight against the spread of communism.
