Briefly but accurately describe developmental stages and indicate parasite:

Briefly but accurately describe developmental stages and indicate parasite:

Parahistomum cervi:

 1. unembryonated eggs in feces

 2. Embryogony: egg embryonates in environment (water)

 3. miracidium hatches from egg and infects water snail

 4. Parenthogony: miracidium enters snail, lose cilia and develops into mother sporocyst, then develops into Redia, then into Cercaria

 5. Cystogony: cercaria leaves snail, attach to plant and lose tail, developing into metacercaria (infective stage)

 6. metacercaria is ingested

 7. metacercaria travels through GIT, to intestines then to rumen

 8. Maritogony: 25% of life cycle, metacercaria burrows into ruminal wall and develops into adult
