Patient having trouble with their eyes/vision or has injury to the eye.

Patient that has fallen from any distance.

Patient complaining of pain in their head and/or neck not caused from a traumatic injury.

Patient complaining of irregular heart beat.

Patient that has been exposed to extreme heat and is giddy, thirsty, weak, uncoordinated, nauseous and/or sweating profusely.

Patient that has been exposed to extreme cold and complaining of symptoms of frostbite which is also known as frost nip.
Cold Exposure
Patient who is having a nose bleed, vomiting or coughing up blood, and/or has laceration.
Hemorrhage
This is where people are pinned/trapped in a confined space or machinery.
Inaccessible Incident/Other Entrapments (Non-Traffic)
This is when the patient has overdosed on medication, controlled substance, alcohol, etc. This will be used regardless of whether the overdose was accidental or on purpose.
Overdose
Patient who is pregnant, having pregnancy problems, miscarriage, in labor, or giving birth.
Pregnancy
This is when someone has said they are going to kill themselves or has attempted to.
Psychiatric/Abnormal Behavior/Suicide Attempt
Patient who has a complaint that does not fall under any of the other nature codes. Patient could be vomiting, feverish, have blood pressure issues, etc.
Sick Person
This is when the patient has been shot with a gun, bow and arrow, etc.
Stab/Gunshot/Penetrating Trauma
Patient having a stroke or stroke like symptoms. Stroke symptoms are consist of and are not limited to as sudden speech problems, weakness, numbness or paralysis of the face, arm, or leg on one side of the body.
Stroke
This is an accident where people are trapped in their vehicle or a vehicle has crashed into a structure.
Traffic/Transportation Incidents
Patient who has an injury caused from trauma. Examples of a traumatic injury could include broken bones, head injury, and amputation.
Traumatic Injury
Patient that has fainted/passed out and is still breathing.
Unconscious/Fainting (Near)
A situation where the patient's condition is unclear or not specified.
