Layout Paper
Thin, translucent, smooth.Uses: Sketching, technical drawing, tracing.

Cartridge Paper
Slightly textured, off-white.Uses: Sketching, rendering (pencil, ink, pastel), printing.

Tracing Paper
Thicker than Layout Paper, translucent.Uses: Copying images when sketching.

Bleed-proof Paper
One side with a bleed-proof layer.Uses: Spirit-based marker rendering.

Treated Paper
Clear binder or dye for bright images; gloss or matt finish.Uses: Photographic printing.

Watercolour Paper
Smooth (hot-pressed) or textured (cold-pressed/rough).Uses: Watercolour painting.

Corrugated Card
Carton board layers with a corrugated middle.Uses: Protective packaging, model making, food packaging.

Bleached Card
Chemically brightened for high-quality printing.Uses: Greeting cards, high-end packaging.

Mount Board
Compressed cotton fibres, rigid.Uses: Artwork presentation, picture mounting, modelling.

Duplex Card
Two-layer, often water-resistant, glossy.Uses: Food packaging (cartons, cups, plates).

Foil Backed and Laminated Card
Polymer/foil layer for water and heat resistance.Uses: Drinks packaging, takeaway box lids.

Metal Effect Card
Thin metal layer, can be embossed.Uses: Gift packaging, premium business cards

Moulded Paper Pulp
Recycled, moulded, smooth inside, rough outside.Uses: Eco-friendly packaging, egg and fruit boxes.
