Flight controls
Surfaces and mechanisms around the aircraft that manipulate the aerodynamic forces to control the airplane and its attitude and flight path.
Elevator trim
A trim control connected to the elevator via cables that allows the pilot to maintain a desired pitch with less effort.
Rudder trim
A trim element on the rudder that is ground-adjustable to set yaw trim.
Ground adjustable trim tab
A trim tab on the rudder that is adjusted on the ground to influence yaw trim in flight.
Left turning tendencies
The aircraft’s natural tendency to yaw/turn left during certain phases of flight, such as while climbing.
