Translation
A transformation that moves every point of a figure the same distance in a given direction.
Dilation
A transformation that changes the size of a figure but not its shape, using a center of dilation and a scale factor.
Scale Factor
A number that scales or multiplies a figure's size in a dilation.
Rule of Transformation
An expression that describes how each point in a figure is moved during a transformation.
Coordinate Grid
A two-dimensional plane formed by the intersection of a horizontal line (x-axis) and a vertical line (y-axis) used to locate points.
Vertices
The points where the sides of a polygon meet.
Interactive Response
A format of assessment that requires students to engage actively with the content, often through methods like drag-and-drop.
Selected Response
An assessment format where students select an answer from provided options.
