Circle of Fifths
A visual representation of the relationships between the twelve tones of the chromatic scale, their corresponding key signatures, and the relationships between major and minor keys.
C Major
A major scale consisting of the pitches C, D, E, F, G, A, and B, with no sharps or flats.
A minor
The relative minor scale of C major, comprising the pitches A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.
F minor
A minor scale based on the note F, consisting of the pitches F, G, A♭, B♭, C, D♭, and E♭.
Key Signature
A set of sharp or flat symbols placed at the beginning of a staff to indicate the key of the music.
D Major
A major scale consisting of the pitches D, E, F♯, G, A, B, and C♯.
B Major
A major scale comprising the pitches B, C♯, D♯, E, F♯, G♯, and A♯.
E Major
A major scale made up of the pitches E, F♯, G♯, A, B, C♯, and D♯.
G Major
A major scale containing the pitches G, A, B, C, D, E, and F♯.
F Major
