Verbalized preparing of a saline solution: added 1 teaspoon of salt to 1 quart of warm water.

Applied a sterile, water-soluable lubricant to the abraded area to prevent contamination of wound while clipping hair.

Verbalized clipped hair around wound with grooming clippers.

Simulated flushed and washed the wound with warm water or saline solution to remove the lubricant and wash away any remaining dirt/debris.
