Divorce is therefore positive as without it women would be trapped in unhappy or abusive relationships.
Critical of NR for being outdated and the view that nuclear family is beneficial for all ignores how women are exploited by it.
Arguments for NR view:

Court may cause strain on children.
People are discouraged from working on their marriage.
Arguments for feminist view:
70% women are now working.
