it is time consuming as feedback is not immediate, cost more in terms of resources and manpower, one need to have a proper command over a written language

it is used to compliment verbal messages, they offer immense help to those are physically challenged

disadvantage of non verbal communication

it is the Vishwa representation of information in the form of graph, symbols, images, etc. it does not require learning any language. it is considered one of the easiest ways to communicate as the human brain understand and interprets images easier in comparison to a text.
