What is extraction

Extraction is when we withdraw resources (raw materials) from the Earth

What is production

The process of making or manufacturing goods and products from raw materials or components.

What is distribution

The process of selling and delivering products or services from manufacturer to customer

What is consumption

Consumption is when people draw benefits from a resource, product, or service.

What is disposal

How a product is disposed of (garbage, recycled, re-used, etc)

Sustainability of a product

For a product to be sustainable it must not result in harm or destruction from extraction to disposal.
