What is the relationship between frequency, wavelength, and velocity (speed) of a wave?
Wave velocity is directly proportional to the frequency and inversely proportional to the wavelength.
What happens as frequency increases?
Velocity increases while wavelength decreases, and vise versa.
What happens as frequency decreases?
Velocity decreases while wavelength increases, and vise versa
Equation of frequency, wavelength, and velocity
The equation is v = λ x f, where v is the velocity, λ is the wavelength, and f is the frequency.
