Hypospadias
A disorder where the urethra opens on the inferior surface of the penis due to failure of the urethral folds to close.
Epispadias
A rare disorder characterized by the opening of the urethra on the superior surface of the penis, caused by abnormal positioning of the genital tubercle.
Bladder Exstrophy
A condition involving the opening of the anterior wall of the abdomen, resulting in incomplete formation and exposure of the bladder wall.
Condyloma
A lesion on the male genital tract associated with HPV types six and eleven, characterized by koilocytic change.
Lymphogranuloma Venereum
A sexually transmitted disease caused by Chlamydia trachomatis serotypes L1 to L3, resulting in necrotizing granulomatous inflammation of the inguinal lymphatics.
Chlamydia Trachomatis
An obligate intracellular organism that cannot produce ATP and is associated with various infections, including lymphogranuloma venereum.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Penis
A malignant proliferation of squamous cells in the penile skin, commonly associated with high-risk HPV and lack of circumcision.
Bowen's Disease
A precursor lesion to squamous cell carcinoma presenting as in situ carcinoma with leukoplakia on the shaft of the penis.
Erythroplasia of Keurt
A precursor lesion to squamous cell carcinoma characterized by in situ carcinoma presenting as erythroplakia on the glands of the penis.
Bowenoid Papulosis
A condition characterized by reddish papules on the skin of the penis, representing in situ carcinoma that does not typically progress to invasion.
