To confirm the accuracy of the measurement and ensure consistency with previous records.
How did you measure the industrial unit in Dartford?
I carried out a desktop measurement using geospatial software and confirmed the measurement on site using a Disto meter.
How did you treat the mezzanine floor during the measurement?
I measured it separately and noted that it should not be included within the main floor area as it had temporary access.
Why is it important to identify areas that should not be included in the measurement?
Including inappropriate areas could lead to inaccurate floor area calculations and incorrect valuation advice.
If you discovered discrepancies between the plans and your measurements what would you do?
I would review the measurements carefully and report the discrepancy to my client with updated measurements
