Solubility
The equilibrium concentration of a substance needed to make a saturated solution
Molar Solubility
Moles of the substance dissolved in 1L of solution to form a saturated solution
Saturated Solution
Occurs when chemical equilibrium is reached and no more solute can be dissolved in a solvent. Rate of dissolving = rate of solid formation
Ksp
Solubility product constant. Represents the degree to which a compound is soluble in solution. Ksp repents equilibrium concentration at the very instant a precipitate is formed
