We were roommates for two years in college.

How would you describe Sandra as a person.

She was energetic and friendly. She had a great sense of humor and loved to be social. Everyone loved her.

**In your statement you described how Sandra had been acting differently ever since she contracted HIV. Can you elaborate on that?**

Even talking to her on the phone I could tell she wasn't herself. She was low energy and depressed.

Has Sandra ever had any other relationships prior to Gregg Mason?

She had one previous relationship with David Johnson. 

What was the plaintiff’s previous relationship with David Johnson like?

They were a strong couple. She was his first girlfriend and sexual partner. They were together for a while. Sandra was devastated when David unfortunately passed away in a car crash.

**Did Sandra ever believe that David has been unfaithful to her?**

No, Sandra told me she believed he had been faithful to her

Did Sandra plan on utilizing contraception during intercourse with Gregg Mason?

Yes. We talked about how she had a contraceptive.

**When did the plaintiff inform you of her HIV-positive test results?**

After a few days of talking on the phone, she finally opened up about it.

**What was Sandra's reaction to getting her blood test results back?**

She was devastated. She was embarrassed and very angry that Gregg didn’t tell her there was any chance he could have had an STD.

**Why was Sandra reluctant, initially, to the idea of suing Gregg?**

She was embarrassed. And I think she didn’t want something so devastating and emotional to become a legal matter.
