The percentage of blood made up of RBCs.
Serum
Plasma without clotting factors.
Erythrocyte
Red blood cell; carries oxygen.
Arteries
Carry blood away from the heart. Typically oxygen rich.
Veins
Carry blood toward the heart. Typically oxygen poor.
Neutrophils
First responders; eat bacteria.
Lymphocytes
Make antibodies (B cells) or attack cells (T cells).
Monocytes
Big eaters that clean up debris.
Eosinophils
Fight parasites & allergies.
Basophils
Release histamine in allergic reactions.
