Proposition
A statement that is either true or false.
Simple Proposition
A statement that expresses a single idea and can be either true or false.
Compound Proposition
A statement formed by combining two or more simple propositions using logical connectives.
Conjunction (p and q)
A logical connective that combines two propositions and is true only if both propositions are true.
Disjunction (p or q)
A logical connective that combines two propositions and is true if at least one of the propositions is true.
Negation (not p)
A logical connective that inverts the truth value of a proposition.
Equivalence (if p then q)
A logical connective that states if one proposition is true, then another proposition is also true and vice versa.
