They are used in enzymatic and transport in the body such as Haemeglobins(Transport oxygen in blood)

They are used to provide structural support to things such as (keratin in hair and skin.)
What happens if you lack protein?
You will get kwashiorkor,low muscle mass and swollen parts of body.
What if you eat excess protein?
you will become obese,bad breath/body odour

Biuret test
What is the color of biuret test?
Negative pale blue to Positive Violet red
