Plessner: Humans are “naturally artificial” due to their ability to distance themselves from their biological nature and create culture and tools to navigate existence: dog w/ bread on floor vs. humans) an interruption of instincts from stimulation/reaction=culture. Humans are part of nature, but transcend it. Don’t simply feed themselves, they create food culture.
