Clinical method used with children 0-6/ Uses operant conditioning procedures/ Parents heavily involved/verbal contingencies
Lidcombe treatment program uses Verbal contingencies
yes, provided on a 5:1 schedule for fluency and stuttering/praise/fluency acknowledgement/request for self-eval/stutter acknowledgement/gentle self-correction request

OTHER TREATMENT APPROACHES are
Multidimensional Approach/Response Cost/Focus on Speech/Motor Patterns
Multidimensional ApproacH
Developed by Sheryl Gottwald/Based on "demands and capacities"
Response Cost
(M.N. Hegde, 2006)/Operant conditioning-based therapy/Positively reinforcing fluent speech with tokens + withdrawing a token contingent on each disfluency
Focus on Speech/Motor Patterns
Provide intensive exposure to slow speech/Slow-stretched speech
