    • Early morning vomiting is associated with pregnancy or excess alcohol intake. If vomiting occurs immediately after food, it suggests gastritis, and if vomiting occurs 1 or more hours after eating food, then peptic ulcers are possible

  3. Signs of infection:

    • Acute causes of gastroenteritis normally include other associated symptoms such as diarrhoea, fever, and abdominal discomfort if the infection is due to food contamination. Then other people are often affected at the same time
