At the beginning of Mass, we say with the priest: “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen,” followed by the Confiteor or other prayers.
The Kyrie Eleison is: “Lord, have mercy; Christ, have mercy; Lord, have mercy,” a plea for God’s forgiveness.
The Gloria is: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will…” a hymn of praise to the Trinity.
The Sanctus is: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of Thy glory…” sung or said before the consecration.
The Agnus Dei is: “Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy on us…” said before Communion.
